Are you feeling stressed and angry too much of the time? Hurting your loved ones emotionally or physically? Bottling things up and then exploding? Feeling anxious, confused or losing self control? Concerned about the way you behave towards your partner or children?
The Men’s Behaviour Change Program provides an opportunity to develop more satisfying relationships, learn non abusive behaviour, challenge old ways of thinking and acting, develop a caring respect for yourself and others and develop responsibility for your own actions.
The program involves intensive work to enable men to accept responsibility for their choices and behaviour and to handle strong emotion and conflict with understanding, confidence and self control.
Facilitators work to support new learning and to challenge unproductive attitudes in a climate of safety that models respectful relating. LifeWorks staff maintain contact with family members and invite partners and others affected by violent behaviour to attend an information session and counselling.
The cost of the 13 week program is $455 ($325 for concession card holders). A fee of $40 is also applicable for the intake interview.
A non-refundable deposit of $70 ($50 concession) is required to secure your place in the program.
The program must be fully paid and attended for a Certificate of Completion or Letter of Attendance to be issued.
Please Note: The Williamstown MBCP is a 20 week program.
